Hey guys,
I recently got several free templates from templatesbox.com and tried to open them in both photoshop and image ready to no avail. I kept getting an error message that said 'this operation could not be performed. the layer is not a valid text layer'. Why won't these photoshop templates work? Any help would be appreciated....

do you have a link to one, so i could download see how it responds to me?

Also what version of PS were they done in and what version do you have, dunno could be a factor and the last thing could be the text maybe in a font you dont have ?

Also I have photoshop cs and the templates say photoshop 6+. Perhaps I don't have the proper text but usually it should still let me open the file and just substitute no? Let me know what happens...

Any other ways I can edit the template?

hmm i downloaded that one and only got an error regarding the text but not the one you got how odd
