Your host has no help documentation on this? That seems to me like a very mediocre, at best, host.

You can use ws_ftp to make an ftp connection to your server. If it's linux based you will probably have several folders, one of which is public_html. This is your site root, or where your domain points too. Any files you upload into that folder will be visible by going to your domain. Usually you can use index.html or index.php as a default page to show up when you just type in your domain.

I recommend reading the help file on ws_ftp about how to establish an ftp connection, as well as contacting your host for your ftp info.

helpful hint:
Code:
ftp://username:password@yourdomain.com
replace username with your username, password with your password, and yourdomain with well your domain name....
you can bookmark that in internet explorer, and it will take you right to the ftp folder
also, be sure to use internet explorer, and not firefox with ftp connections

Open Dreamweaver, click on Site/Manage Sites/ then choose either New (for a new site) or Edit (for an existing site).

Once you have the site open Select the Basic tab and fill in the five pages of information required. On page 3 (sharing files) choose FTP and fill in the ftp connection information - probably www.yourfilename/com - your login ID and your password then click on 'Test Connection' when Dreamweaver can successfully connect to your site you're done and can close out of the site setup, saving everything as you go.

Your final step is to go to your website files in Dreamweaver, highlight the top file in your directory tree and click on the blue 'put' arrow - - Dreamweaver will put your entire website and all the associated pictures in one click - - You're done.

You can then test your new site on the web and fix anything you don't like....
