Very often, when I try to edit a page, dreamweaver tells me"

"Making this change would require changing code which is locked by a template or translator
The change will be discarded"

The problem is that the edits are being made entirely inside of editable regions.

Can anyone tell me a fix or a workaround. Cetainly I am doing something wrong, but cannot figure out what.

Dreamweaver is a bit harder, you need to have training and tutors for you to fully understand it.

Well, maybe its time for you to ask help from a professional graphic designer, or from your friends who are familiar with Dreamweaver. You can also surf the net... There are sites that tackles the different software programs.

I had the same problem once but I can't remember what I did to resolve it. It seems that it gave me that message but the code didn't change any. You might check to see what changes when you get that message. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Dreamweaver can be a pain in the *** when it comes to changing stuff that's locked. This is one of those times when you have to resort to Notepad and tweak it manually.
