I have a slight problem with the way my homepage forwards me to my other pages.
If I type in the address
www.myhomepage.com
Then click one of the links on that page, for some reason it frame forwards my browser to the next page.
So if I click on a link for Page1, instead of showing:
http://www.myhomepage.com/Page1.htm
It still shows:
http://www.myhomepage.com
I would like for it to display the entire URL. Here's the strange part! If I type the full URL of another page on my website, let's say:
http://www.myhomepage.com/directory1/Page3.htm
And THEN I navigate around my site, it shows the full URL in the browser address bar, which is what I want!
Some relevant info:
My website is on a virtual hosting account.
I do not have Domain Forwarding enabled on this account. It is available for an extra fee, but I have never activated it.
I DO have Subdomains on this particular website. For example, I have forums.myhomepage.com ... BUT the subdomains are set to use Standard forwarding which shows the destination URL in the address bar.
A) I don't have any problems with the subdomains, they work fine and they show the destination URL in the address bar like they should.
B) The problem I am having is from my homepage only. For some strange reason frame forwarding seems to have been applied to this page and this page only. Weird.
C) I have a standard FrontPage .htaccess file. This didn't cause this problem, as it was there before this problem occured.
D) I have no idea when this happened. When I first noticed this problem, I didn't have the time to figure out what was going wrong.
I am just plain stumped. Hopefully someone out there has experienced this before and knows how to fix it!
Thanks for your help.
