Hi guys,

sorry posted this in the wrong forum and got deleted! Anyway it's about this new site I stumbled upon that seems to be a free resource for web builders who want to create 3D websites... The site I found is

http://www.gogofrog.com/userdata/TBusinessT1

Some parts of it look a bit dodgy, but I think it's pretty cool! I'm in the middle of trying to build my own. Send me the link to any of the ones you build!

Wow. Thats a v. nice site, but there are major draw backs to a All-Flash site...
Here are a few links telling you why:

Yeh I've heard about the drawbacks of having an all-flash website... The gogofrog site is free, so what the heck!

Yeah that is pretty cool. That would be of help for those who are building their own 3D.

But in case you got problems in craeting your own 3D, it is best to ask a superd graphic designer or web designer.

Wow those sites are really really cool...Yeh the gogofrog site is a different kind of '3D' I guess..

With all flash sites, there are lots of companies that only do all flash sites and are very successful and create really cool designs. I recently read an articale on the computer arts magazine about the company Fantasy Interactive who does only all flash sites - very impressive though!

when it comes to all flash sites, think of it this way: Macromedia created Flash, but do they have a all Flash web site? www.macromedia.com
check it out and think about it.

Haha what can I say to that!

Am I the only guy defending all-flash sites here? :P But I honestly think that all-flash sites do have a place on the net - they are definitely not reliable in many cases, but in some, especially for turning a plain showcase into something breathtaking, an all-flash sites could be on the top of the list.

I think the site is cool at first, but becomes very annoying. It's because the entire navigation is dependent on flash. I think flash is cool for animations, but when I hate to navigate throught a website with flash. It's very annoying. But for example.... if flash was used to navigate a 3D earth, it would be cool.

To be honest, it's very land and boring
(you asked!)

Flash sites to me are way too much like beefed up interactive advertisments. Hardly ever provide any usefull info and the majority of flash designers go way off the rails in conforming to basic useability standards, which usually ends up as a site that you have to be a genius to find your way around.

People without flash (including people with disabilities) (and Google) are screwed unless you provide an HTML alternative...
