I personally wouldn't use this as I'd write my own but I like the idea and I think it would work quite well. There are a lot of web developers out there who don't have scripting knowledge and would love to be able to charge for implementing one.

I would say the main problem would be that there are a lot of free and one-off-fee scripts which will do exactly the same thing which web developers can install. I think a lot of people would chose these over a monthly fee.
