hi im new to dreamweaver the problem that i have is that i have a background imahe on my page and when i put a layer on top of it and insert a flash swf inside the layer when i brows it on internet exploer and move around the site my b/k image centers but my swf stays in the same place and doesnt move along my b/k page i need help i will apreciate it thanks

probably the swf is using absolute positioning which means it has a fixed position

i dont undurstand this is the link to the site that im talking about where the swf movie is on the top everything moves when i strech the corner of the page to the center but the animation stays still can you check to see what im doing wrong thank you link www.burnsgraphics.net

how can i fix that so when ever i make a layer and ad images or swfs and then stretch the browser window it wont stay still it will move along with other backgrounds i hope you understand me thanks

If you are asking about the design window, I have absolutely no idea. I've never used it.

in the code it's simply a matter of typing it in

so with your example
Code:
<div id="Layer1" style="position:absolute; left:124px; top:82px; width:748px; height:183px; z-index:1">
would become
Code:
<div id="Layer1" style="position:relative;width:748px; height:183px; z-index:1">
You could add a float to the style depending on your exact layout.

i did what you told me to do but still the swf file wont move when i move the whole page i have that problem with onother site to i put a layer on top of the image where i want to put type or an image and when i new it on the browser the layers wont flow with the back ground or the type sorry again maybe my settings on the page are wrong.

hey was up so you checked it out i took out the position:absolute, from the code but it goes to the right it flows with the site but its not where i want the type to stay maybe its my settings on the page properties the settings are
left margin:0 , top margin:0 , margin width:0 , margin height:0 the image its
inside a table and its center does this effect the way it displays thanks bro.
