I used Active PDF Maestro to add bookmarks, an extra page, and a note to a PDF document, and the size of the PDF went from 534K to 802K. I might have used different software to add the extra page, but the extra page is less than 12K. This is the original and this is the bigger, edited version. I already know that PDF Maestro is full of bugs and doesn't have some of features I need so I won't be buying it after the trial, but would I get a smaller file size from a better PDF editor, or should I expect my bookmarks, extra page and comment to increase the size by about 268K no matter what editor I use? I was thinking of trying one of JawsPDF's products. |
