I have created a menu list with .gif format graphics to be displayed on my website. What I want now is for there to be a drop down menu appear when you mouse over one of the images.

(eg)

MENU
Product ---> product 1
----------------product 2
----------------product 3

So when you mouseover the product image, it expands to product 1, 2 or 3. What program can be used to make this and do you know of any guides to do this?

thank you

Here is a tutorial for horizontal drop "down" menus using HTML and CSS. This is probably the nicest way. You could use Javascript, but if CSS can do it then there is no need.

DaveR,

That is the Mutts Nuts!

I have been needing an accessible drop-down menu having just binned an inaccessible dhtml one on a complex site. This fits the bill superbly. Thanks for posting this.

Regards
Ian

Another way would be using dhtml..

Check out this link..
http://gosu.pl/dhtml/mygosumenu.html

download the file and has examples.. I find it easier working from examples.. can look at the code and understand how it works and then modify it to your own needs
