Hi,

I am planning to create a portal site, and have a few questions regarding content:

1. Does anyone have any recomendations on content that would keep them at a site. I plan on reviewing web links as the major section of the website.

2. I am going to have the weblinks open in new browsers. How would I set this up in the link, and can a second setting be added so links in Firefox browser automatically open in a new tab?

3. One of my content ideas is to utilise a free dating script and I plan to add a dating section to the site. Is this going too far, or the more the better (so long as the layout remains clean and uncluttered)?

4. Does anyone know of any good free templates that would suit this sort of project?

5. My financial plan is to have affiliates linked into the url's of the websites that provide an affliate plan. Does it sound like a good idea to have these towards the top of the website list?

6. I noticed a lot of webmasters get sent free test products/software/services, etc to test and write a review on the site. I had an idea of the above, plus the company providing an unbiased factual paragraph about their produt/service/software, then I would review the product personally?

7. In relation to number 6, what is the best way of going about getting these things sent to me, and when would be the most benefial time (ie. visitor numbers, etc).

Thanks in advance,
Jason
