Hi All,

I wonder if you can help me, I have had my first attempt at putting a wesite together on frontpage express, however, I am having a few problems getting this on the web - can you help??? The main problems are;

1. I have called the homepage 'index' and then created other pages to link to from this page which just have normal names e.g. 'opening hours', 'prices' e.t.c. The problem is, I try using 'cute FTP' to get it all on the web, I drag accross each of the separate html documents but then when I go onto the wesite, the homepage shows but none of the links work..... can anybody give me some advice?? - Is there a different way I should do the hyperlinks?

2. There are images on the homepage but they will not come up either, it just shows a box with an 'x' in the top left corner - is there a technique for getting links to images to work? - It is an image I have created and saved as a jpeg.

Any advice you can give me would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!!

Make sure tha the FP extensions are installed on your server ( webhost)

All your files are best uploaded thru the FP "publish site" feature in the File menu.
All your files hould be within the same web to make it easier.

The pics are prob not in the correct path. Meaning are the pictures in a another file in your web? then make sure the path is corret i.e. www.yourdomain.com/images/picname.jpg

Hpe this helps a little - if you Pm your link I will look at the site and maybe can help you more.

Frontpage has AWSOME publishing capabilities (one of the reasons you would use a WYSIWYG editor) however you must make sure that you create a "new web" in frontpage before you start working....there should be a wizard that will walk you through this and ask for your http and or ftp information.......
