Your host needs to support SSL. Then you use a url that begins https://

I think it's as simple as that but I could be wrong.

Nope it's pretty much as simple as that. Ask your host about purchasing an SSL certificate for your site. Or perhaps they will offer you a free shared SSL cert.

OK, but HOW does one do this? I mean, how do you save a web as https? If I open my website using https, I get the hosting company's default screen. I can't figure out how to make my application form an HTTPS form to use the SSL I purchased and installed.

Disregard my last post. The problem was that my hosting company hadn't completed the transfer of my site to the new IP address and server. The HTTPS works not, BUT my forms no longer work. When I fill out one of my forms as an HTTPS, I get this error:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details.

So, my question is, "How do I fix this?" Obviously Frontpage is screwing something up, but surely it can be fixed. I really don't want to have to start over with the form... I don't like creating forms.

Moved this into the WYSIWYG board as it now seems to be a frontpage issue.

Might not be a Frontpage issue (not that I am sticking up for Frontpage or anything Micro$oft for that matter), but alot of times if you don't have a dedicated IP address for a SSL certificate, you will get the default configuration page for the server software.

Maybe that's your issue?

Actually, I do have a dedicated IP address for my SSL. The error message actually says "Frontpage error." I'm thinking that it is, in fact, a Frontpage issue. I was kind of hoping that somebody experienced in Frontpage would be able to help me with this one.
