There is this thing called matt wright's FormMail Clone in my web server. It says it can send the data of an HTML form to any email address specified. The thing is that I have no knowledge of CGI programming and do not know how to use that script even though I need to use some forms in my site. I read the documentation of the script but couldn't make head or tail out of it.

1. Could anyone please suggest how we are supposed to use that script or sites which have tutorials to do so.

2. Does using formmail result in my inbox being flooded with junk mails?

3. Isn't there an easier way of handling the form data with HTML itself?

4. Aren't there any php scripts available which do similar things?( I have a little knowledge on php)

In my limited experience with FormMail it's pretty easy to use with no knowledge of CGI. You just name each input field, choose the input type (test box, test area, radio buttons, etc.) and it generates the HTML code for you. Is it possible that your hosting provider does not have it installed properly? Or perhaps I am thinking of a different script. Also I believe there are other scripts available for the same task and you can probably find them on any free script site.
Hope that helps.

Yeah, but how am I supposed to access that program? A link is provided there in the CGI center of the CPAnel x http://etravelnepal.com/cgi-sys/FormMail.cgi which doesn't provide any form or anything that suggests it is a web program.Just this much of info is presnt in the above mentioned file.
This is FormMail-clone, a clone of FormMail.cgi. It is a clean room version for legal purposes (a less restrictive liscense), but should behave the exact same way as Matt Wright's Original, but contain none of his code.
Nothing else. I thought it was a web app but couldn't figure out how to use it.

Sameer, I can help you with a form mail that is written using PHP and Html combined and can even set it up for you to use as soon as possible by just loading it on to your site through cpanel. You will have to help me to look for a cheap dating and movie portal sites to buy.

Contact me using matt2leeds@yahoo.com and I will give you all the details. Others are welcome to help out though.

Regards
