Hi

I am making a sitemap for my website. What do I need to include? Do I simply list the separate main pages, or do I have to link every subpage? For example, I have over 120 pages showing templates, each with its own display page, do they all need to be included separately? Do I just list the "Fonts" mainpage, or also list A, B, C, etc?

Anything else I should take into consideration?

Cheers

Perhaps you could choose the middle way : you make it with all the pages, but you show it in a convenient way : collapsing content for example

What is collapsing content?

I am sorry 'dismaldonkey' i have no experience with sitemaps, but believe the more detailed the better, but not with all the links on the same webpage.

Since you seem to be a little unsure of what to do, our suggestion would be for you to create a site map of all the important sections of your website instead of all the 120 page. A site map is meant to help your visitor get the overall idea of what your website contains and not a list of links. If your section pages are well laid out then your visitor wouldn't have any trouble getting to the lower pages. Just imagine a drill down with only your important pages showcased in your site map. Don't forget to add a line or two about each section or important page, this will help your visitor a lot in deciding which pages they would like to view.

Good luck creating your site map!
