It seems all the rage at the moment to have photos of smart, attactive people all over your site (see msn.com, sun.com, yahoo, hp, all the big ones really), grinning over laptops, doing interesting things and the like.
While it can be a bit cliched it can also look quite smart to do up your site with a few nice photos. sites I design tend to be a bit image-sparse and dry.
So does anybody know a good, reasonably priced image-archive? ive found a few, like getty images ( www.gettyimages.com) or corbis, but they charge massive amounts for piccies (£80.00plus!!!), and when you read the small print on the 'royalty free' stuff it tends to be extremely restricting.
Theres always google image search i guess, but you tend to get back a hugely diverse set of results, not really what you want, and most of those imgs are copyrighted anyway.
So, any suggestions?
