Hi,

I have been approached by a friend to build him a site. The main feature he wants is to be able to edit certain text on the site from his own PC.

I'm using Dreamweaver to build the site, but he has no editing software at all.

Is there any way I can 'simply' include this feature??

If so, how????

Give him a form within a password protected folder that enables him to edit the text content. What language are you using to build the site as this makes a difference to the way you organise it all. With PHP it's a simple matter of using includes. With HTML you have to be a little more cunning and use some creative JavaScript. It's not too hard to accomplish though.

I'm using Dreamweaver so I guess its HTML. Sorry to fire questions at you, but what would be the best way to include Java script??
