I have built an ENTIRE site in Dreamweaver 3 and its gone awesomely! HOWEVER! I was just making a new page for the site and for some reason which is pushing me over the edge when I go to copy and paste some images into a page (which has worked the whole way through the site) all its showing me is Broken Images icons!

The Image folder hasnt moved or anything it has suddenly done this for no reason!

SOMEONE PLEEEEASE HELP ME!

there are no specific answers to this until the code can be seen.

but generally these can help u.

1. since u said the images folder avent moved, then where is this file located? inside ur site/any other folder?
2. ave u double checked if the images are stored in the images folder.
3. is the page saved in the same site.
4. most common error - is the path to the image right?

As praveen said we cant honestly answer it until you give us more information.

Are you making a folder like yourdomain.com/newfolder/index.html for your page if so try linking the image to ../images/file.gif or whereever the file is located?

ave u created a site in dreamweaver??

if u have, when u insert an image it will ask u if u want to use relative or absolute paths to the image.

so wat u initially selected, basically u just copied into the other pages.

thats why the problem.

glad u could solve it by yourself
