Ok, I have only created one website and all the content has been on one page. I know how to add links, but dont know how to add new pages. If I create a new page for example and name it page2 , what are the next steps? On my index page, I added a menu bar and tried linking it to page2, but it won't work. The different links on my website builder are file, ftp, gopher, http, mailto, news, and telnet. I tried using http://www.mysite.com/page2.html, but with no luck. As you can tell I am a newbie. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can create a page and title it page2.html (if that is what you want to call it). Then, on your server, you save that file in the same place you saved your main page. Your main page will probably be called index.html. Then you should be able to link it like you did in your post.

How did you link it? It should be done like this:

<a href="filename.html"><img> or text</a>

Make sure that your file is relative to your index.html file. That is, it should be in the same directory or folder. If you need additional help, we're gonna have to see some code.

If you can get the actual file produced after using your website builder, download SmartFTP, and upload the file to where you want it to be on your account.
