So i've never had any languages other than enlgish on this computer.
yet somehow when i get emails for articles for my website,
when i cut and paste them, they get some chinese characters all over them

I think it's something on the server side.
Anyone know what it could be?

Have you tried using something different from this :

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=Shift_JIS">

still loading special characters. charset=iso-8859-1

I also deleted the file from the server and reuploaded from local (which doesnt include special characters).
any other suggestions?
