Hello everyone...

Long ago I developed a simple philosophy that has served me well over the years: If one goes fishing, one may or may not catch a fish...but if one does not go fishing, the odds of catching a fish are considerably reduced. So I'm going fishing, and whether or not I'll catch a fish remains to be seen. Here's the scoop: I'm trying to establish a hobby website; a 'virtual airline' for multi-player use with MS Flight Simulator. The domain/webhosting is already established, and the multiplayer software is installed. I can create the website in Front Page 2000, but I'm told this isn't the best approach, so I'm looking for a sharpie who has the time, knowledge, and willingness to build a killer website for this project. I realize that many of you are in this for the money, and I respect that, but there's no need to reply with a sales pitch; this is purely a hobby, and I'm looking for someone who is willing to do this for the publicity you'll get from front-page-billing on the website, and continued involvement if you wish. Just so you know: This won't be a complex, fragmented website, but there are some things that are simply over my head. Beginner-designers are more than welcome to give this a go, by the way; I'll work with you every step of the way.

Best regards,
Garry (garry@jetcoder.com)

I can do it for you, no charge, just a link back to my site e.t.c.

For Tom/LGR Extreme Talk: I got your PM, but the forum stopped me from responding to you because I don't have 5 posts! Please email me direct (garry@jetcoder.com) and we can discuss the website inf you mentioned...I can provide a very detailed description of what you'll need.

For CagedWeb: Thank you so much for the offer, and I have no problem at all with posting a link back to your website!

To both of you: This is fantastic, but honestly I wasn't really expecting any response from this at all, so you've sorta caught me with my pencil down. Here's the deal: I will start immediately to create a very detailed spec to describe what I'm looking for, okay? It won't take long, maybe an hour or so. I have a business website, and I'll post the documentation on there, then post the URL to it on here. Again, please know that this will probably be a no-brainer for those who know how to do it...it's not an e-biz site, and there won't be a million pages to it.

I'll be back on here shortly...and thanks again, more than you know.

Okay, I've created a rough-draft of the basic requirements, which you can see at: www.jetcoder.com/website.html

Let me know what you think,
