I really want to design a site but im finding it hard to decide what the theme should be as a lot of my choices seem to be over saturated markets such as video gaming and other subjects.

Im trying to find something atm, I dont excel in but something I can start working on and learn whilst creating a site but im at a loss and looking for some suggestions.

I had a few ideas which were a bit grim to say the least as i found the number of sites for things like Serial killers to be pretty low although the sites i found had good content the layout was very basic and the other sites seemed to be replicas of each other.

I want to hopefully get a site up and running I can really work at and in the long run make some money as well as experience and even some fun.

Well, slayerx, first you need to ask yourself - what am I interested in? Do you have a hobby or an interest that you can provide good content on a website and know what you're talking about? What are you most passionate about? When you can answer those questions, then you've found your solution. No one can choose a subject matter for you only you can do that. Even if you don't know or have all the information, you can do research and then write up your content in your own words. As far as making money - well, first you need to find out what you want the website to be about, the subject. Once you have that established, I'm sure your mind will be reeling with ideas on how to make money from it. You need to start at the beginning first and then blossom out.
