Hi all

Im looking at building a new site that will have alot of info on it.

Im thinking of using a forum to run it but Im not sure.

A forum would make it dead easy to run and add data and have people reply to info or even add their own.

I just think it would look unprofessional and visitors wont be able to sort the data on a particular page to satisfy their needs. They would have to scroll through it all. But on the other side they can do a search too.

The other option is making it look really professional and clean, but it would take 10 times longer to add new data to it.

Im not sure which way to go. What would you prefer if you were looking for info on a variety of things??

Sounds like what your looking for is a content management system (CMS) such as Joomla.

With a CMS you can easily manage large amounts of content, plus give your visitors the ability to search and sort through it all.
