It seems pretty easy to add a midi file to a web page, but suppose you want users to hear continuous music as they move through the site. Is there a way.

Also, there are hints on some search results, that there is script to allow a user to turn it off if they do not want to listen. Anyone know about this?

Can I suggest you dont put any music on your site?

Most people dont like it and it slows the loading of your page too

If I was you, I would put this on a small pop-up which has full media controls on it. Or, you could also put it on your index.php page, and just include all your pages in your index. Although, if you are currently using HTML, or just dont have the right php script set up, the pop up would be the best.

If you put this on the page you want the midi to be played on, it should work, also showing the controls.

HTML Code:
<embed src="yourmidi.mid" width="width" height="height" autostart="true" loop="false" hidden="false">
This should work, good luck!

If you have any problems, just reply back and either I or someone will help you out!

Thanks. How do you get a popup like that past the popup blockers?

I am not quite sure about that, but you could provide instructions on your website telling people to allow pop-ups from your website.

Also, it would be a good idea to include a link to the pop up, so people can manually open it, and not have to rely on the automatic pop up.
