I'm not sure either but it would make sense. They want people to start using Visual Studio to do web design/development.

FP was my first web editor I used and I thought nothing could be better than this! Then 3 months later, my 1st experience with DW MX 2004 was awesome and FP was N-O-T-H-I-N-G compared to this great piece of work! But as for FP 2003 being the last one, I don't think so, a few more months (maybe a year) another one will be released with more feature and exclusive things and new and better themes and Microsoft will just have to throw in the towel after that if it's not any better than it's recent titles!

those are my thoughs!

Unfortunately, I doubt Microsoft would just stop developing such a sucessful product. Even though it sucks,much like Windows....

If they're making money off it, they'll keep developing it.
