Hi all,

I made my site using Dreamweaver MX 2004 in 1280x1024 resolution and the page is neatly centered in the middle with a green background. However, i tested it in 1024x768 resolution the page isn't centered, also there is no green background showing on the right side of the page. In other words, there's a huge chunk of green on the left, the content of the page is too far to the right and there's no green chunk on the right.

When i look at other sites in smaller res they're still centered in the middle but just bigger. I can't show you it becauae my site isn't online, it's still in development. What have i done wrong? Do i only see this because my screen is not optimized for small res or something?

Someone in another forum said in order to center my page i should add something like this in the CSS:

Code:
 #container{
position: relative;
margin: 0 auto;
width:750px;
}
My page is in html and i have no idea how to add this using dreamweaver, where do i put it?

You don't. Thread deleting is done by forum admins to clean up spam You leave the thread up so that future users searching the forums might find it handy.
