I'm trying to find a free editor for a friend who has no knowledge of html... I have heard that there are some high quality free editors out there, but don't know any names...

Has anyone here had any experience with or could point me in the right direction... I prefer your opinions over a Google search

Thanks!!

Take a look at Nvu, it's one of the better ones I've seen.

I have a list of HTML editors and some other useful stuff Here. Most are freeware, however some are shareware.

I concur with Anacrusis, Nvu is good. I actually use it for plain html coding. It's got template and css support too. Although, in my experience, it messes up indentation in php syntax big time...

Thanks Howard
I don't think they are using a scripting language so it should be okay and I like it too.

Thanks to all!!
