yet another new-to-me buzzword! My initial research makes it sound like a glorified storyboard/site map, but I'm a little unclear on the specifics of this new term.

Does anyone out there do it? Why and how? And can you show an example?

Thanks!

I think you have the basic concept. Essentially you're putting down a skeleton of the site on paper so you can see how it will all link together. You can get an idea of the click paths someone will take on your site.

You might not notice until looking at the actual pages that it's taking 12 clicks to get through your checkout process and then realize it's something you need to address. It can also be a good way to show the structure of the site to someone who isn't familiar with it.

I haven't had the need to use them myself. I'm not sure if they're necessary when designing/developing a smaller site, but they defintely can help avoid some problems in larger sites.

Havn't heard of the term, but have of course used it naturally.

It seems to be the term used to describe the process in which the client describes what the basic function of the website should be, and possible ideas.
