Hi

I am a fairly new newbie to the world of web mastering. I have successfully built my page however, my text is all Ariel in Dreamweaver but when it is viewed in Internet Explorer all the text shows as Times New Roman - can anyone help me and tell me how I can get it to show all the time in Ariel font????

Also can someone tell me how to get your Web page to expand to the full size of the users Internet Explorer Screen. Eg: so it fits the same in a 17" monitor as it would with a larger screen. - Full screen size.

Thanks

Heidi

The problem lies within your code, many things could be causing the problem. How did you define the fonts? Did you use tables? CSS?

Hi Jake

I am using tables. In my Page Properties it is defined in the Appearance and in the Headings. Wasn't sure were else to look!

Heidi is the web page you created online somewhere? If I could see the code I can probably see why you're having problems with the font.

If the page isn't online could you copy the code for your page and paste it here?

For the width problem quicky is right in needing to use width="100%". You'll want to have it added to the table tag so it looks like:

<table width="100%">

That's the default for a table so chances are that somewhere within Dremweaver you've specified a width in pixels or DreamWeaver did that automatically for you. I think if you select the table in Dreamweaver you'll see something in the property bar for the width and entering 100% should set up the code for you.

Hope that helps.
