Hello

I have tried to I have tried to put a floating layer on my site that would function like a popup that has a close button on it. Although for some reason it does not work on my computer but it works on other computers... This is confusing I am wondering if it is bad code that is incompatible with some browsers or browser settings, etc...

a link to see it is http://www.synchronicity.org/vpasp3/default.asp

What do you think is this stable code? Maybe my computer for some reason wont interpret the code correctly, actually it works sometimes but not at other times

When it does not work what happens is that when I click the x to close the window... rather than closing it just makes the browser scroll to the top of the window if it was down. I don't get it....

Please help....

Or does someone know a better way to make a window show up on a page that can be closed by the user, adn will appear any where I want it to on the page including over other page elements...

Thanks

Thomas

It's working for me too in Firefox 1.5, IE 6.0, and Opera 8.5

Do you possibly have javascript disabled or limited in some way by a toolbar you installed? When I first checked it in Firefox I had javascript disabled and it wasn't working till I enabled it. It's probably too obvious, but thought I would mention it just in case.
