i'm using dreamweaver 8, and am wondering if there might be a way to automatically generate a complete site table of contents. i found 1 dw extension but it only does 1 html page at a time. that would mean hours of work to create a toc....can anyone help.

You can get programs that will crawl your site just like a search engine and output an XML sitemap with a list of URLs.

Most of these are intended to export sitemaps for the Google Sitemaps service, but you could probably take the XML file and integrate it into your site as a table of contents as a list of URLs, etc.

I use ROR Sitemap Generator and G Site Crawler
