I have frontpage 2002, and I am wanting to build a webpage. I am very new at this, and I want to make sure I go about this just right. My website is going to be a Christian Website, and I already have it named, and have already checked its availability.

Does anybody know if there are any tutorials out there for creating a webpage using frontpage 2002??? Am I using the right program??

I'm not a fan of FrontPage or any other WYSIWYG editor for a variety of reasons, but FrontPage is probably one of the easier ones to use if this is new to you. If you can afford it and are willing to take the time to learn to use it I'd recommend DreamWeaver.

What aspect of web design are you looking for help with. Are you looking for tutorials about design in general or is it more the coding and development of the site where you're looking for help?

I know what I want the page to look like, but I am not sure how to get it to look that way. I found a template that was the layout I want, but when I try editing it using my frontpage, it doesn't do right in the browser.

Any help is appreciated. thanks.

Sounds like what you're looking for is tutorials on using FrontPgae. I'm not a FrontPage user so I probably can't help directly, but I did find a few sites that looked like they had some good tutorials:

WSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors like FrontPage usually don't produce the cleanest code so sometimes things will look a little off in a browser. It's a good idea to learn HTML so you can clean up and correct the code.

W3 Schools has some good basic HTML tutorials as well as other web related tutorials. There pretty easy to understand and quick to go through

You might also want to ask specific questions at the WYSIWYG forums here since there will probably be a lot of people in there with more knowledge about FrontPage.

I hope that helps. I can answer specific questions about the code of your page, but really don't know a lot about using FrontPage.
