yes thanks how about 1 my next little problems when viewing in firefox my forum button doesnt sit on the same line as all the rest

Looks like the sum od the widths of your buttons is larger than the width of the table cell they're sitting in. It should be the same thing in IE and all browsers.

Given the design I think you can make the left column narrower since it has plenty of empty space. After making that narrower you can increase the width of the right side so it's great than 600px.
