You definitely need more work on your site. The layout is too plain. I don't like your background.

Flash based navigation is a big no-no

Anyone who uses a screen reader, doesn't have flash, or doesn't enable javascript can't navigate your site.

Further you have to wait 30-40 seconds before you can switch pages now?

Search engines can't spider your site either...

Flash is so... well, flashy and that's about it. I would agree with 3pointRoss and take a look at some of the designs you can do with CSS.

Flash navigation too big and the font color...

They are right, Flash however good it is is probably not the most practacle. The background could be better. Loose the hit counter, or keep it hidden! Reconsider the fonts, they look pixelated and scruffy. Move the copyrght section inside the main column. Remake the bottom of the main column, tru a different colour or graident. Try and merdge the flash to the html main section to make it one vertical together column and move the navigation. Its vitally important if your going to have a site design company that you make your website spectacular.

I like the look over the header. If it was me I wouldn't slowly fade in the links that you want the user to click on though. You only have peoples' attention for a few seconds... if they look around for yoru links and don't see them initially, they may move onto your competitors site.
