Anyone know of freeware I can use with OSX which is a shopping cart w/ship calc. --or just shipping calculation that I could use with an order form I can build myself? My client is a startup biz with one item for sale. no money to buy software.

The order pages don't have anything to do with the operating system, all the code is stored and served on a remote web server.

You could use Paypal or any other payment processor for single items - they will all supply the code to put in your web page as well!

My client has hired a payment processor for sales other than thru the web. (in a store). This payment processor will give them a much better rate than Paypal; that's why they want me to build the form using their hostservice's SSL. I have no clue how to add shipping calculations, tho'. About the OS, I've just found a lot of times, software is only for Windows, no good for Mac. And I'm creating everything on a Mac. Any hope of finding just shipping calculation freeware for Mac? Otherwise, I need to tell them they'll have to spring for Paypal in addition to their other payment processor.

Ahh so you want a html editor? Found these links on Google...

Mind you, you will probably be better of running the order pages using a php script which runs on the web hosts servers. You could then use a html editor to modfy templates etc.

I'm not a programmer--just a lowly graphic artist. I was hoping to find a bit of software to add the shipping calculation to my order page. The order page I can build with my WYSIWYG, and get some code from the hosting service to go thru their secure server. Know of anything like that?
