I use Macromedia Dreamweaver 4 to make my websites.
What I am wanting to do is create an online photo album that public viewers can post photos into.
I would like them to be able to post photos from their own computers in the same way that Photobucket allows them to do. I would like to also have the albums searchable by keywords.
I also want an area for the photo submitter to put a note, such as name of photo subject, or other information.
I am also wondering how to go about creating rotating banners. Not gif files, but a table set at width, and height with set numbers of cells. But I want say 12 different images to rotate in sets of 3 each time the page is viewed by a visitor. How do I do that?
I want to integrate this album (actually, set of many many albums) into a base web template that I will design myself. I would like the album to update itself when users post their images. I want to be the only one able to delete images though. I would like the IP address of the person submitting the photo to be recorded into a log file.
Is there a program that will plug in to Dreamweaver (or is it already there and I haven't learned to use it yet?) that will allow me to edit the look of the website, while keeping the albums and their content untouched?
To do that, it would almost need a webbased program that my website would integrate into so that I would be able to have control over the images that are submitted...right?
