Question from a future internet business owner...

I want to start a dating site but most custom scripts costs are way above my budget.

So I plan to purchase a dating software script license and have a web designer to design the site. There are many dating software programs out there. So far I like WebScribble Dating Software http://webscribble.com/products/webdate/index.shtml
and aeWebworks software called Dolpin http://www.boonex.com/products/shark/

I plan to hire a Web Designer to install the software and design the site.


QUESTION ABOUT WEB DESIGN:

1). Is it easy for a Web Designer to design a dating site that's software based or will this be a difficult project for him/her because I'm using software?

2). How long does it usually take to design a site like what I'm planning?
(Content- Basic pages you see on dating sites: Home, about us, contact us, terms, privacy, safety, affiliate sign up)

I'm new to the web industry and was concerned about using software oppose to having a custom script done. Don't want to make things difficult for the web designer I higher. Glad to hear it should be easy for him/her.

I just want this to be a smooth and easy project for someone.

I've been reading up on the dating industry and it's highly competitive. Seems as if the big boys have many long-time regular customers.

My background is in marketing (12 years), advertising and promotions to adults age 20-39, so I'm looking forward to learning Internet marketing and online promotions. Bring on the BIG challenges! I will be very creative and will always think outside of the Internet box.
