Hello, I'm new to Dreamweaver. I want to be able to click a button and play a sound without it opening up a new page. Ive linked the button and the audio file and that's fine but it opens a new page. I tried changing the target options in the properties (self, parent etc) but it makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks.

This probably should work with javascript Onmouseover/Onclick

oh sorry, i didn't mean that kind of sound, I meant if you were designing a website for a band, the user could click on a 'play' button and hear a sample of their music without jumping to a new page.
Whenever I link a button to an audio file it opens up a new blank page and I'd like the user to remain in the same page but be able to play music tracks.

Any suggestions?
