Hi all,
I'm a web developer running a small bespoke design house in North London. I specialize in creating back-end systems that make websites work, as well as content management systems, tracking, webmail etc., but have only a limited flair for design.
Having explored the idea of permanently employing a designer, I've found that I'm unable to take the financial risk at the moment. I have, therefore, decided that the best way forward is to create a network of designers - skilled in Flash, Photoshop and possibly 3D - that will be accessible from my website, which is due to be relaunched in June.
By doing so, I hope to be able to generate work for all concerned in quite high volumes, since I am also expanding into the South African market at present and it remains largely untapped.
