Ok so here is my problem. I want to have a site that will be around for a while. Which I guess as long as you pay for the hosting it will be around as long as you want it to.

But I want a site that is feature rich and has lots to offer.

So I have a nice site now (I think) as a main structure. But I want to add a bit more to get more guests and interaction. So here is my senerio

You go to a site that is about cars. You are looking for some information. Do you want to

A) go directly to a forum and get down to business asking a question

or

B) go to a content management page that may have other information that might strike your interests. Also it will take you to a forum?

I am just stuck on whether or not to try and just add a forum. Which my whole site is based on finance, bankruptcy and credit. So I should get some visitors to it.

Or have a content management page where people can read even more stuff, and get more involved it would also have a forum?

I am going to go with vb I think.

I have tried phpbb and smf with unhappy research.

Anyways just trying to get an idea on what people look for when they are looking for information
