I'm looking to setup a new website for a night club and they want people to have the ability to upload images they took on nights (which aren't shown until an admin approves it) but my question is what type of disclaimer should be used.

Anyone uploading an image would need to have appropriate permission of those in the picture so as not to violate anyone's privacy but is there a standard type of disclaimer that covers this whereas the user uploading is responsible and not my client.

How would something like this work?

Your best bet is to ask a solicitor for the appropriate wording. Also consider forcing the user to register with the site before uploading so you have their name and address and possibly night club membership number if there is such a thing.

Ya I will be collecting information about the person that is uploading. I think though that I will just tell my client to get a lawyer to write all this up so that I am protected as well. I know my contract already prohibits them from going after me for content used on their site and that they are responsible for their content but after speaking to an ex-lawyer there are a few things that I haven't considered with this so the only alternative is getting a lawyer to do this.
