I like the banner a lot it looks quite good, not a huge fan of the left side though, still looks good.

It is pretty simmilar to what you see on many web hosting companies, which might be your objective?

Personally I like to try and design in a way that sets my sites apart from others (or at least I try , if I succeed is subjective).
