I just started playing around with layers in DW. Yesterday it worked great, but today, when I create a layer and save the page and then
reopen the page the layer is gone.
I put some type in the layer and moved it in my layout. When i reopened the saved page the layer is gone and the text is reformatted in a wierd way. Is there something I'm not doing to save the layer correctly?

I realize it's only happening when I paste text in from Word.
If i create a layer and type text in then the layer is saved.
I have a lot of text I'd like to paste from Word, how do I keep the layer I put the text into it and save it that way.

Don't use Word, use Notepad or TextPad. It might solve Your problem.
