Hey every one, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I am designing a web site. I recently discovered a problem that I will be running into very soon, and would like to answer it as soon as possitable. so here it goes:

I finished the main page of the site, with all the links ready to go. The next step is to creat the other pages. ( there will be over 50 pages) on the left side of the page is a menu type bar. What is the best way to make the bar load up from one file. I cant discribe any better than that. The only way I have been able to think of so far is IFames, however, Iv been doing research, and heard they are crap.

what does others use? php script? PLEASE, help me as much as you can!, thanks

I use php includes to do what you're trying to do. You'd place all those menu links in a file called menu.php or something similar and then wherever you wanted the menu to appear on a page you'd have

<?php include "path to menu.php"; ?>

You could do the same thing with another scripting language like asp or use server side includes.
