Can somebody please tell me what the width and height of a webpage are in pixels please?

The height is irrelevant, but the width of a webpage depends on the size of the user's browser and if maximised it often depends on their screen resolution.

When designing webpages, you might want to limit your layout to 800px wide to cater for users at an 800x600 resolution, so they don't have to scroll left and right to see the entirety of your page.
