Can Adobe Illustrator CS2 templates be opened in GoLive CS2?
I am trying to creating a template in Adobe Illlustrator CS2, but I realized that there is no decent file extension (e.g html extension) to save it so that I can open it in Adobe GoLive CS2. If I use the .SVG extension and I open the template in GoLive CS2, the text is out of alignment and the text color is only in black color (i.e. I would have lost the previous colors used in Illustrator CS2). How do I transfer Adobe Illustrator CS2 templates into Adobe GoLive CS2 correctly?

Also how do you insert external images into an Adobe Illustrator CS2 template?

Neither Photoshop nor Illustrator is an HTML editor, they are for graphics. There is no export to GoLive from either program. You're going to have to 'slice' up your graphic layout into the pieces for your web page layout and place them in the code the way you want the site.
