Hi,

I'm quite new to this, I reacently made a index page with dreamweaver4 and viewed the page in IE. I tryed to save the page to cd. It all worked ok except the 2 flash buttons that I placed on the page were not to be found on the cd copy ?.
What I'm trying to do is save an entire active website demo to cd.
Can anyone tell me the best way to do this.

Well....its kinda easy if you knew the principle of adding flash to webpages. Flash files(swf) are embeded to the site and saved in server. When a guy comes to your page, he downloads the swf from the server to his system's temporary folder. The files in the temporary folder are .....well......temporary. All you have to do is access the temporary folder and copy the swf file.

Well, to do this, follow the below steps :-

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Browse to the site.
3. Make sure the flash is fully loaded.
4. Go to Tools --->Internet Options
5. Under the "General tab", click "Settings" under " Temporary Internet Files".
6. In the dialog box which appears, click "View files".
7. Look for the .swf file you need and copy it to some other place on your harddrive.
