I find myself not doing so good with templates in creating them.
Coding them I am good at.
I am looking for a good site that has a wide variety of template tutorials for photoshop.
Zymic has only a few template tutorials.

Also, what tips or hints do you guys have to suggest.

If by 'templates' you mean creating the graphics in Photoshop or other grahphic program, then you will need to learn the graphics program first. I don't know that I've seen much in the way of tuts on creating site 'templates', and I have tons of PS tut bookmarks.
