I have discovered a new page on my site.
The page name is 'TMP2gbhd5l0rr.html' (without the quotes).
It does not allow me to delete it, I select delete hit the button but nothing happens it also does
not allow me to rename it, it tells me whatever new name I use 'a page already exists with that name'.
I use MX 2004 on XP Pro SP2 platform
I have done a google search on the page name with no results.
This is concerning me.
Can any one assist?

I assume this file is on your local machine ?
Looks like a temporary file to me. Have you tried deleting this file with DW CLOSED ?

Well, if you had linux you wouldn't have this problem. But try deleting the main page or just move the files that a necesary to your website out of the folder and deep 6 the folder. If that doesn't work try viewing the folder in dos command prompt and deleting it the old fashion way.

I think what LadynREd says is the best course of action. I don't think you have need for concern, you haven't been hacked or anything!

When you preview a page in DW it creates a temp file. I have noticed that on occassion the temp file that it creates will linger for some reason. It is held open in memory or something and windows will not let you delete the file while DW is open. With DW closed, you should be able to delete the file without any consequences.
