Looks like you used something like "background: fixed" -- and FF is doing EXACTLY what you told it to do.. the background stays put and the text scrolls over it. Fixed background doesn't work properly in IE.. gee.. no surprise there.

It looks centered in FF, but your text is not contained in any box, so it runs across and 'out' of your boxes. First clue.. IE gets it wrong, FF is doing it the way the standards say it should be done.

I thought fixed meant the background stays put on the page. What should i set it to instead, scrolling?

Ok hav sorted that problem, but now i have another one. Line spacing seems to be different in firefox to ie. In my notes page, i have different sections and in dreamweaver, i wrote it so that each section fell into a background box n wen i looked at it in ie it looked the same but in firefox it didnt work and boxes got cut off and text went out of them. so i changed it so that it looked ok in firefox but now it doesnt look rite in ie. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!
Any suggestions??
