How do i prevent people from accessing my /images folder?

If you mean prevent them from seeing the directory structure you can just put an empty index.html file in that directory.

If you want to stop them from hot linking images you could look at my small prevent image hotlinking tutorial

put an .htaccess file in the /images folder with this:

IndexIgnore *

This will make it so nothing in the dirctory is listed

IndexIgnore *.gif *.jpg

Will only block jpgs and gifs
